These terms are the agreement between you and Raunak Kalra ("we", "us") for using the ThinkGist app and its website pages. By creating an account, commenting or otherwise using ThinkGist you agree to them, to our Privacy Policy and to our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, please do not use ThinkGist.
ThinkGist summarises the day's news from many publications into short cards and longer explainers, with links to the original reports. The summaries are written with the help of AI and checked by automated rules. They can contain mistakes or leave things out.
Do not: copy or collect ThinkGist's content in bulk by automated means; try to break, overload or get unauthorised access to our systems; reverse-engineer the app; use it for anything unlawful; or use it to harass or harm others.
The app, its design, the way the news is organised and our summaries belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may use them for your own personal reading, and share a story using the app's share button. Nothing here gives you ownership of our content, or of the publishers' articles and photographs that we link to or show with credit.
If you switch on notifications you will receive them until you switch them off. We will also email you when you need to confirm your address or reset your password.
ThinkGist is provided free of charge. We may change, pause or stop any part of it, or these terms, at any time. If we make an important change to these terms we will tell you in the app, and continuing to use ThinkGist afterwards means you accept the change.
ThinkGist is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for losses that come from relying on it, from comments written by other readers, or from sites we link to. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law that cannot be limited, or our responsibility for anything the law does not allow us to exclude.
You can stop using ThinkGist at any time and delete your account in the app (Account settings, then "Delete my account"; see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for ThinkGist or for supporting it. If you downloaded ThinkGist from the App Store, Apple's standard terms for apps also apply to you, and Apple can enforce them against you.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights you have in the place you live.
